Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley
is affectionately known by Zin aficionados as the "Zin
Zone" because of its remarkable climate and history of
making great wines. Zinfandel grapes need a long, warm and steady
growing season to achieve full potential on the vine. The Dry
Creek Valley, where much of Rancho Zabaco’s fruit is harvested,
offers just that – year in and year out.
Rancho Zabaco’s Chiotti and Stefani ranches are located
in the Dry Creek Valley. The 60 acre Chiotti Vineyard is celebrated
for its flavorful layers of blueberry and black raspberry fruit.
The Stefani Vineyard enjoys a reputation for wines with intense
flavors of cassis and blackberry. |
